4. Invest in Others
There are more ways of investing into others than simply buying nice gifts for them. You need to spend time with your family and friends, and that will in turn help you create a support group for yourself, so the next time you have problems, they will be there for you. Furthermore, do not be fooled into thinking that you can solve everything all by yourself; you need the help of others, and there is no shame in admitting that. Trusting someone makes you vulnerable, but also lets you experience true friendship and true love. Use it well.
5. Forget the Past
What is in the past should stay there. You need to remember that the past serves as a good reminder, and you constantly need to learn lessons from your mistakes, but never dwell over some things that you cannot change. Let the past go, and move on. Always try and focus on the future, as your happiness lies there, and only if you try as hard as you can to find it, will you be able to achieve that. People who cannot escape the past can quickly find themselves trapped and unable to leave – they are often unhappy, and the key to the solution is to simply enjoy yourself, and try not to make the same mistakes.
